Roof Replacement in East Texas
When repairs are no longer the practical choice, A-Ability Roofing Inc can assess an aging or damaged roof and walk you through what a roof replacement involves for your home.

Is it time?
When to consider replacing an aging or damaged roof
Widespread damage
Damage that covers large areas of the roof, such as after a storm, is harder to fix one spot at a time.
Recurring leaks
When leaks keep returning in different places after repairs, the problem may be the roof as a whole rather than a single spot.
Aging or deteriorating roofing
Shingles that are curling, cracking, or losing their surface granules, or flashing and underlayment that are failing, can signal an aging roof that is wearing out.
Age alone does not decide it. An older roof can still have life left, and a newer one can be damaged. A roof assessment, not a number of years, guides whether roof replacement is the right recommendation for your home.
Repair or replace
Repair vs. replacement
Targeted repair
Fits a roof that is mostly sound and has a contained problem, such as a few damaged shingles or a failed section of flashing.
Roof replacement
Fits a roof with broader problems, where repairing one area at a time would leave other worn or damaged areas behind.

Roof replacement FAQ
Roof replacement questions
Does my roof need full replacement?
It depends on the roof's condition, not its age alone. We assess how widespread the damage is and whether problems keep returning, then explain whether repair or replacement fits your roof.
What affects the estimate?
The size and condition of the roof, the scope of work, and the materials you choose all play a part. We go over these with you so you know what the estimate includes.
How is scheduling determined?
Scheduling is set with you after you approve the scope of work. We do not quote a fixed timeline before looking at your roof.
How is roof replacement different from new roof installation?
Roof replacement is for a home that already has a roof that is aging or damaged. New roof installation is for new construction and additions that do not have a roof yet.
Do you replace roofs in Palestine and Madisonville?
Yes. We work with homeowners across East Texas, including Palestine and Madisonville. If you are not sure your property is in our area, call and ask.
How do I prepare for the project?
Ask us what to expect when the work is scheduled. Clearing access to the home and moving vehicles away from the work area is a sensible place to start, and we will let you know if anything else is needed.
